Have you ever seen a piece of art that is subject to the eyes of the beholder?
It seems like new DJs are constantly emerging left, right, and center; a lot of them based out of Europe. While all of them are good, some more than others, French producers Mokoa and Raeve stand out the most. They have joined forces and dared to do what most artists won’t, tackle a classic by the legendary, Bob Marley.
The serious and powerful, “Redemption Song”, gets a treatment from the duo, leaving us with a light, upbeat, dance version. Influences stemming from Kygo
and Thomas Jack
are heard almost immediately, but don’t let that fool you and take away from the originality of the two because the soothing flute, melodious xylophone, and summertime sax soon mesmerizes you.
Bob Marley - Redemption Song (RÆVE & Mokoa Ft. Jahson)
The French seem to be having at it in the EDM scene, and this track only confirms it. The Reggae prodigy would definitely approve of this one, which further captures the sultry and good vibes of the land he once roamed.

This one is for the books, it's a heat wave, joyride must…and possibly even for that long overdue trip to the Caribbean. The duo practically seduces us with the incorporation of Marley's ethnic sounds while integrating modern EDM vibes, appealing to more than just a reggae fan.
Have a listen, lie back, and relax, because for this work of art, the interpretation is subject to the ears of the beholder.
