Syn Cole – Bright Lights (Sam Feldt Remix)

Sam Feldt makes gorgeous music. Period.

If there’s one upcoming artist I’d recommend to just about anyone, it would be this guy. He’s pumped out remix after remix and still hasn’t let me down. For this beaut of an MP3 he tackled Syn Cole, the progressive-electro phenom hailing from Estonia. Don’t get me wrong, the original is wonderful in its own right, however Feldt seems to channel the meaning of the lyrics better in his string heavy production. Syn Cole has a knack for finding perfect vocalists, and produces some of the best acapellas out there, however his gritty electro doesn’t always mesh with their delivery. He’s a slightly unfortunate artist in that he creates huge tracks, only to find himself in the shadow of another artist’s remix of his original production (Avicii, Kygo, Sam Feldt…)

Despite Syn Cole’s misfortune, have a listen to Feldt’s re-interpretation of “Bright Lights”. I’m like 90% sure you’ll find your head bobbing around the 2:08 mark. That violin gets me every time.
