Chris Lake and Anna Lunoe’s “Stomper”

Ok folks, it really isn’t all that often that I hear new track that I love so much after the first listen that I rush to the computer to see if anyone has posted it yet. That said, this for me is one of those tracks.

Chris Lake has been making great music for nearly a decade now. His original track “Changes” broke the Top 10 on Billboard‘s Hot Dance Airplay chart; All the way way back in 2006. And Anna Lunoe… do I really need to tell anyone just how good her vocals are? Chris Lake and Anna Lunoe’s new track “Stomper” is about to join the top cast of 2015 summer hits.

Anna Lunoe seduces you with a cinematic breakdown of her voice that progresses into a wind up of synth stabs overtop of a heavy hitting bass-line. The sound is meant to pay homage to old-90’s house music that when fused with acid, techno and some groovy Anna Lunoe singing over it all, cooks up one very dope track. The variety in sound in this track gives it the versatility to show up in all sorts of sets so don’t be surprised when you hear this track heavily through the following weeks and months.

Chris lake is a staple in the house genre. At 14-years-old, the multi-instrumentalist discovered progressive house music, and his life completely changed with the purchase of a synthesizer. About a decade later, he’s not only still in the game, he’s one of the few who still change their sound and experiment to create a new one. Anna Lunoe is a name you will be hearing often through 2015 and in to the next year, with her original works and almost every feature becoming indie hits.

You’re all welcome in advance.
