Project 46’s New Track Is A “Sign” for What’s to Come

Most known for their collaboration with Kaskade on “Last Chance” the Canadian duo Project 46 is back with “Signs,” a beautiful house original with a tinge of tropical and deep vibes throughout the entire track. Check it out below.

Project 46 – Signs

Project 46 is 5 months removed from their debut album Beautiful, and after remixes of Morgan Page’s “Running Wild” and Kaskade’s “Disarm You,” they seem to be dabbling in a softer side after making progressive house for much of the past year. Having Shantee provide the sweet, sultry vocals, the Canadian duo keeps things light and airy for an easy-listening track to enjoy whenever you need to.

As electronic music evolves into a new behemoth with every track, it’s exciting to see artists continue to press their own boundaries as musicians. Whether it be a dubstep artist trying out house, a mainstream EDM artist dropping into the underground or the house artist trying out drum step, sometimes you have to appreciate the new steps artists take. Not many times does it end up so well, but in this case, its bridges the gap between the Project 46 we know and the one itching to be heard.

Music has always been a passion of mine, being the kid trying to find the latest music to listen to. In college, I was exposed to Emalkay's "When I Look At You" and EDM quickly became my favorite genre. I hope to show people through writing what EDM has done to me and hope I can help people discover the beauty that is EDM.
