 Grinda and Ambrela

Russia's under the spotlight right now as the 22nd Winter olympics play out in Sochi. And while the reports about the conditions for the athletes have been less than stellar, I'm more concerned with promoting great Drum & Bass. I feel like as Americans we have this completely warped view of foreign countries, especially Russia. Everyone raises their kids to be a bit nationalistic, but I think it's safe to say that our school's history lessons about the Cold War still breed an innate disdain for Russian culture. There are still negative feelings. And the reports coming back from the Olympic village aren't helping. I haven't heard or seen many positive reports from the "mainstream media" about the games and it's a bit of a shame. That being said, lets give some credit where credit's due and listen to this Drum & Bass track from two Russian producers Grinda and Ambrela. This track is also part of the EP they released last year (see below).

Grinda and Ambrela - You The title of Grinda and Ambrela's Hopes Come True EP tells us that life might be a littler harder in Russia, so I have a lot of respect for what they do. The tracks are damn good too.
