LAXX Returns with Step Two EP
Bass prodigy and Twitch expert LAXX today blessed us with the appropriately titled ‘Step Two’. This four-track collection features an astounding array of glitchy bass hits with a treasure chest full of organic instruments; ready to assault the ears of listeners. The cover art itself is nothing short of eminence, with its complementing style of spliced-up shapes and configurations.
LAXX opens up the EP with ‘Brainbug’, a rattling original with a delicate melodic flavor to counteract the chest-beating bass that comes next. Its sequential build up adds a plethora of excitement to listeners as they are brought on a musical rollercoaster of epic proportions. Second up and the title track, ‘Step Two’ unfolds itself wrapped in progressions of mellifluous trumpets that proliferate in layers by the second. The ear-catchy melody combined with those signature LAXX synths, this track turns out to be quite a breathtaking masterpiece.
Coming next is ‘The Limit’, which offers extreme bass vibes and melodic trap builds. The 808-permeated drops take a stance as one of the track’s highlights and are not to be missed. Last but not least, the EP closes off with a blistering remix by MUST DIE! A highly appropriate closing track, listeners can expect to hear Must Die’s! authentic grime-wobbles and scattering synths, injected with occasional segments from the LAXX original.
Be sure to drop by and pick up your copy of the ‘Step Two’ EP, out this Monday via Never Say Die Records, exclusively on Beatport!
