Destroid Unleashes The Invasion Remixes Album
Just in time for the summer and festivals everywhere, Destroid has released their remix album for The Invasion featuring remixes from the likes of Datsik, Crizzly, Getter, Funtcase, and Ill Gates. Each of the original 10 Destroid songs have a fresh remix showcasing each artists take on the heavy hitting Destroid sound. The album gets started off with the new remix of Bounce, which has become one of the most popular and sampled song by Destroid. Mayhem and Antiserum take Bounce in a slightly darker and deeper route that we have seen before. I have caught this track live, and it does not disappoint with how much bone crushing bass it delivers.
Wasteland gets a fresh feel to it too with Barely Alives take no prisoners remix and honestly impressed me the most out of the artists who don’t have the notoriety that Datisk or Crizzly does. .
Following up on the dark grunge of Bounce, Funtcase’s remix of Crusaders is brutal and reminds us all how good Funtcase is at bringing bass to dance floors. Getter and Crizzly both deliver massive remixes to Activation and Put it Down respectively, and Datsik shows us why he is one of the top dubstep producers.
With so many fun remixes coming out right before Festival Season gets into full swing, I am sure we will here a few of these dropped at Paradiso and across the globe as those monsters of Dubstep bring their bass to crowds worldwide. Make sure to catch Excision and Datsik at Paradiso this coming June 27th and 28th and don’t miss Ill Gates and Downlink at Foundation Nightclub on June 11th and July 2nd.
