Listen to “The Thrill” of New Nero
Let me just catch my breath for a moment before I start writing because
NERO IS BACK!!!!!!!
After releasing “Satisfy” in 2014 that premiered on Zane Lowe’s BBC Radio 1 show as Hottest Record in The World, Nero stepped back into darkness before reappearing last week with their newest track, “The Thrill.” This track has the similar distortion sound that was super prevalent in “Welcome Reality” and will probably be the new “Me & You” of their coming album.
Nero – The Thrill
Your guess is as good as mine when the new album will released, I’m hoping sometime this year. MTA Records posted a photo on Facebook February 1 of a tweet from Stuart Hawkes saying that he started mastering the latest album from the trio. Maybe we could be looking at a summer or fall release date possibly… maybe… hopefully.
I have been loving this new track almost as much as I loved “Satisfy” in 2014. Every replay of the song brings out the crispness of the distortions, the rumblings of the bass and that amazing Nero sound that has been missing from my life.
We will definitely be hearing this over the summer as the trio heads to America in April for a two day stint at the San Jose State Event Center (tell me, how did they get Nero there?) before their set at the internet-breaking Coachella 2015. Don’t worry if you can’t see them there as they will also be making an appearance at Lollapalooza in Chicago.
Check out the song above and purchase it from iTunes now. I can’t give you any set dates for the release but sit tight as it will hopefully come soon. What are your thoughts on the new track? How excited are you for the new album? Comment below with your thoughts!
