Excision & The Frim’s “X Up” Gains A Set Of Remarkable Remixes

Everyone loves a good remix. So imagine what it’s like when you get four of them at once? This is exactly what Rottun Records, the label owned by none other than Canadian bass music front runner Excision, have done with their latest release.

Excision & fellow US based artist The Frim, who earlier this year collaborated on the blistering “X Up” ft. Messinian, invited four talented fellow bass music fanatics to give the track a fresh twist. Hydraulix & Phase One double up for a rugged remake that nearly trumps the original for aggression. Erotic Cafe take it down a trap direction while Trampa, representing Never Say Die, keeps it dubstep with some big drums, while Astronaut flare up with some electro energy.
