Not even a week after demos leaked from Madonna's upcoming LP 'Rebel Heart', she surprised her fans by releasing 6 new songs overnight on Friday. Of those 6 songs, the track titled 'Bitch, I'm Madonna' featuring Nicki Minaj
, happens to be produced by Diplo
Christams came early?
Through Madonna's Twitter and Instagram she's claiming Christmas has come early for everyone, but for me, I'm not too sure about that one...
After listening to this track a few times, I'm not quite sure how I feel about it. With this EDM experiment, Madonna seems unattached more than ever. Props to Nicki Minaj's verse--potentially her best verse this year--and Diplo's settle trap beats behind the 'Bitch, I'm Madonna' lyrics. Altogether this makes for a potential clubbing track, but Madonna should definitely stick to her roots. I can't help but laugh at the irony in the fact that at the end of the song she screams "Who do you think you are?". Or maybe I just can't help but be bias towards her after her "Has anyone seen Molly?" Ultra Music Festival stunt...
