How does it sound if we spend the night out?

It sounds good, really good. Two weekends ago OTB was on scene for the residency debut of French Electro House DJ Martin Solveig at XS Las Vegas on April 6th. The atmosphere was electric as major events like the NCAA tournament were winding down and the EDM paradise that is the Wynn/Encore complex winding up into summer party mode. Summer has arrived, signaled by the official season opening of Encore Beach Club with superstar DJ David Guetta and a hard-hitting opening by Cedric Gervais.

Martin certainly didn’t disappoint, playing to a packed house at XS in his signature headband. The beats were characteristically Martin with a heavy influence of the pumping French House baseline that shoots straight to your dome. Known for his entertaining stage presence, it was clear Martin was enjoying the beats and the crowd.

Martin spun classics like The Night Out and his chart topper Hello. He also took the opportunity to introduce us to his latest sound... the beach party friendly anthem Hey Now, a collaboration with The Cataracts feat. Kyle that is sure to get ample playtime. Hey Now’s combination of a solid beat, happy vocals and catchy rap chorus is sure to sucker even the purists into singing along.
