Dada Life – Boing Clash Boom (Major Lazer Remix) PREVIEW

I thought I understood the saying, “go big or go home”, but after seeing Major Lazer perform live at Coachella this past April, I realized I hadn’t even come close to scratching the surface. Major Lazer, currently made up of Diplo, Jillionaire, and Walshy Fire, are not only continually bringing the heat, but also reinventing their music, productions, and performance with each new release.

Experimenting across the board with different EDM genres like electronic, dancehall, reggae, dubstep, bounce, moombahton, hip hop, daggering, and Dutch house, I am always so stoked to hear how their new material is going to expand my personal musical niche.

Last week, Dada Life released a preview of one of their newest songs with a twist by allowing Major Lazer to put their musical genius to work. Personally, being a bonafide bass lover myself, I have never really been a fan of Dada Life, so I was quite skeptical on how well these two artists could create a sound that I would actually enjoy.

After listening to Boing Clash Boom (Major Lazer Remix) for the first time, I was almost completely speechless, and found the only thought that came to mind was “Major Lazer absolutely killed it”. This is the first track I have heard in a while that speaks for itself. Like all their past creations, they have managed to yet again, create a completely new sound that explores multiple genres but still manages to flow flawlessly.

This song is truly a masterpiece that makes you never want to stop dancing and blows your mind, even when it’s over. With Electric Daisy Carnival a little over a month away, my excitement and anticipation have sky rocketed in counting down the days to see these two amazingly talented groups perform live.

Hope you all enjoy it as much as I did. Happy listening my friends!
