Museum of Love Debuts “In Infancy”

LCD Soundsystem’s drummer Pat Mahoney seems to be everywhere these days.  From a recent tour with Talking Heads leader David Byrne and members of Hot Chip and Bloc Party performing William Onyeabor’s music to avid fans, including a Jimmy Fallon audience, to leaking the first taste of his new project, Museum of Love, on Fader.

The collaboration with Jee Day (AKA Run Roc Records founder Dennis McNany) birthed  “In Infancy” – a delicately layered DFA-esque hipster jam.  With brooding vocals slightly reminiscent of James Murphy and a cowbell breakdown – this may just have to land in your rotation in anticipation of their August 19th debut LP via DFA Records.
