Freddy Todd is a relative newbie in the scene, but his futuristic, funky sounds grabbed the attention of prominent Brooklyn-based producer, Gramatik. The track "Let Me (awesome)" is our first glimpse into the forthcoming album Golden Tremendous, set to be released by Gramatik's Lowtemp label next Tuesday. Todd has also released under Simplify Recordings alongside talents such as Protohype and ill-esha. "Let Me" is a track that's a collection of electro, glitch-hop, nu disco, and funky future beats. It begins innocently before dropping a groovy, make-your-booty-bounce bassline. The track is also highlighted by ethereal, spacey melodies that take you back and forth between super chill and ready to get down.

If you're a fan of keytar professional Kill Paris, or have a thing for the funky sax solos of Griz, Freddy Todd will be a unique addition to your musical repertoire. His pairing with Gramatik looks to be a great decision, especially considering the strides Lowtemp is beginning to play a larger and more influential role in the lives of their fans. Being that Gramatik was a long-time member of the Pretty Lights Family, his philosophy of digital freedom will also allow music lovers to enjoy tunes from artists like Freddy Todd for free!
