Didrick Annihilates One Direction’s “Steal My Girl”

To be honest, this was the first One Direction song (remix or mashup) I’d ever intentionally listened to. If you’re like me and have only heard this sugar coated, sorry excuse for a band on the radio, let Didrick pop your One Direction cherry.

I just listened to the original for the fist time a few moments ago. I’m surprised I made it through the entire song. The worst part is that the vocals aren’t even bad, just the cheesy pop production. I’d compare the instrumental to a quickly made Journey-esque ballad that’s about as creative as a Flo Rida completed paint by number.

Here to save us from the rough equivalent of shoving a boiling nerds rope through your ear drums, is Didrick. This prolific producer has wowed us before with his madeon-esque single, and absurd OWSLA & Monstercat mashup videos. Have a listen to Didrick’s unique brand of glittering electro below, and let us know what you think!
