Mord Fustang’s Album “9999 in 1” is an Homage to 8-Bit

Mord Fustang just released 9999 in 1, his anticipated debut album, and it has rocketed to #6 on iTunes electronic charts!  Known for fusing future synth, disco, glitch, electro and hard bass into cohesive melting pot tracks, this musical genius showcases his multi-genre influences on the record that is not just a collection of club bangers.

Dripping with sonic references to analog and video game culture, the album serves as a long form homage to 8-bit nostalgia and arcade life.  Billboard, who premiered the cut “Elite Beat Agent” characterized Fustang’s composition as having “a quirky synth lead that evolves and adds layers above electric organ chords and buzzing 8-bit flourishes” and “an upbeat homage to the Nintendo soundtracks of Fustang’s past.” What do you say, old-school video gamers? Are you a fan? We are.
