No way, Porter Robinson and Mat Zo are actually going to be hanging out with people their own age when their in Tempe! I wonder if any lovely ladies from ASU will be able to convince them to stay in the Desesrt...Either way, I have been waiting to see Mat Zo perform for over a year now and was pretty upset that he missed his set in Las Vegas (at EDC) due to traffic, so I'm pumped for this show. I'm interested to see how this hyped up college town crowd will react to Mat Zo's Trance 2.o swag and style in his sets. To be perfectly honest, I'd choose Zo over Robinson any day, but I'm also a True Trance fan. In a weird way, the Language Tour is almost like if the younger version of Tiesto (and the progressive house he plays now), Porter Robinson, teamed up with the younger version of the trancier Armin Van Buuren, who would be Mat Zo, to go on a North American mega tour... Damn, this show is about to be wild...

Steve LeVine Entertainment & Public Relations (SLE) and Disco Donnie Presents bring The Language Tour featuring DJ and producer Porter Robinson to Marquee Theater on July 3, located at 730 North Mill Avenue in Tempe. Doors open at 9 p.m.
Hailing from North Carolina, 19-year-old Porter Robinson has been on the fast track to fame since the release of his first production “Say My Name” in 2010, taking a No. 1 spot on Beatport’s Electro House chart before he graduated high school.
The hit single quickly ascended Robinson into the spotlight. By early 2011 he was touring with Grammy winner Skrillex, and by September his first EP Spitfire
became the inaugural release
on Skrillex’s label OWSLA. The eclectic mix of Electro, House and Dubstep featuring artists like Knife Party, Downlink and Kill The Noise shot straight to No. 1 on the iTunes Dance chart. The album sales were so successful it crashed Beatport’s server before earning its spot at No. 1 on their overall release chart for two weeks.
Following the release, Robinson continued to gain esteem performing as direct support for Tiesto’s “College Invasion Tour” before headlining his very own “Spitfire Tour” across North America. The same year he made appearances at mega-festivals like Electric Daisy Carnival, Ultra Music Festival, South by Southwest and Electric Zoo, as well as entering DJ Mag’s
Top 100 and Billboard
’s Top 21 Under 21 list.
This year Robinson became the youngest DJ to claim a residency at XS Nightclub inside the Wynn Hotel in Las Vegas and recorded his first BBC Radio 1 Essential Mix live from Hull City Hall in the UK. He will be joined on The Language Tour by the M Machine and Mat Zo.
