A monumental year for Paul van Dyk continues on Saturday 13th October, as he revisits Electric Brixton for his final London date of 2012. Having launched his ‘Evolution’ album at the same venue earlier this year, another capacity crowd will be in attendance when Paul returns to SW2 as part of the Evolution World Tour. PVD’s previous Electric performance witnessed an avalanche of incredible moments, many of which will no doubt be enhanced further at this hugely anticipated event. With Electric Brixton’s auditorium draped in history, bespoke lights, lasers and sound, Paul is able to transform the venue into a trance haven for his colossal fanbase. This event concludes PVD’s London appearances this year, having also hosted a riotous 5000 capacity arena at the upcoming South West Four festival. As one of the pioneers of electronic music, Paul’s London gigs reflect his visionary productions, whilst his legendary DJ performances have built and cemented new sounds and trends. With the popularity of his VONYC Sessions radio show in constant growth and with more than three million albums sold worldwide, Paul is recognised as one of the world’s leading DJs and electronic producers. His ‘Evolution’ album is further evidence of his innovative repertoire having received a 9/10 rating and ‘album of the month’ award in June’s Mixmag and equally high approval in DJ Magazine. Featuring tracks from Arty, Austin Leeds, Giuseppe Ottaviani, Tyler Michaud and Ummet Ozcan, Evolution symbolises the next chapter in Paul’s groundbreaking career. With two very special guests joining Paul in the main room still to be announced, this is already earmarked as one of 2012’s standout events.
