MĀYĀ DAY + NIGHTCLUB Labor Day Weekend Line Up
This is a pretty epic line up at MĀYĀ DAY + NIGHTCLUB for a 4-day span of raging in the valley. For those of you lucky enough to be located in Arizona or close enough to make the drive for the long weekend, there are a few artists (and girls in bikinis) that will definitely be worth your time.
08/30 – Deorro
A part of Steve Aoki’s Dim Mak records roster, the L.A. native’s Soundcloud has over 20,000 avid followers and more than 1.5 million plays with his unique genre of electro house titled “panda funk” in 2011. Doors open at 9 p.m.
08/31 – Above & Beyond
Trance dj/producer trio have remixed tracks from artists as diverse as Madonna, Britney Spears and Delerium. The group is the only dance act to win BBC’s Essential Mix of the Year twice, first in 2004 prior to releasing any full-length albums and again in 2011 following the release of “Group Therapy.” Doors open at 11 a.m.
09/01 – Skam Artist takeover at Māyā Day + Nightclub for a Labor Day Soiree
Guests can swim, dance and listen to beats throughout the day and into the night by DJs from the Skam Artist roster including House Connection with Bad Boy Bill and Richard Vission, Eric D-lux, Jessica Who and CC Sheffield. This event is from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.
09/02 – TJR
Celebrate Labor Day Weekend with an Industry pool party featuring TJR. TJR seamlessly blends multiple genres of music, from electro house to hip-hop and is known for his unique live sets, where he employs impromptu scratching that is uncommon in most EDM performances. TJR was featured on hip-hop sensation Pitbull’s 2012 track “Don’t Stop the Party,” which went platinum in the USA and sold over 2 million worldwide. He is one of the select resident DJ’s for Las Vegas’s newest venue Hakkasan. His latest release “What’s Up Suckaz” was the No. 1 track on Beatport Overall for the month of July. Doors open at 11 a.m. and there is no cover to attend.
