Freaknight Artist Spotlight: Nervo

Nervo, the sister duo from Australia, is back and ready to once again put on an incredable show for those attending Freaknight 2014. Nervo is no stranger to Seattle having made appearances at both Resolution 2014 and Paradiso 2014 in the past year. Their sets are full of high energy tracks and big room / electro sounds that really get the crowd into the music and create a very enjoyable set to lose yourself in the music.

Nervo’s live sets and productions vary quite a bit actually. While their sets are mostly big room and electro with some deep house thrown in, their actual productions take on a much less mainstream stance. Their track “Don’t Break My Heart” with Marco Lys is a very groovy bass heavy deep house track that really shows off the musicality the sisters possess.

Revolution, their collaboration between R3hab and Ummet Ozcan, is quite a step away from their deep house vibes and instead takes on a more electro feel. Since it is a collaberation with two other mainstream artists, this track is a better representative of Nervo’s set style and what you can expect from the duo at their Freaknight performance.

Make sure to catch Nervo this Freaknight and check out the rest of their music on Soundcloud. For more information on this years Freaknight Festival or on other artists attending this years twisted carnival check out the links below.

From LA to Seattle, the West Coast has always been my home and I take great pride in the music scene we have here. Bass music is my first love, but in reality I love and appreciate all types of music...besides country. Let the music talk. You just have to be ready to listen.
