Let’s Get BUKU in New Orleans

Another day, another lineup. But this isn’t just any lineup though, this is the final lineup for BUKU Music & Art Project in New Orleans. Already stacked with Nero, Above & Beyond, Pretty Lights, What So Not and more, the 2 day festival added Purity Ring, Rae Sremmurd, Sweater Beats, Claptone and more to the extravagant lineup. Festival goers can also start planning which stages they want to hit up. Check it out below.

The Power Plant will be filled with electricity as Miike Snow, Above & Beyond, CHVRCHES and Kid Cudi set New Orleans alight with a blend of genres only the Big Easy could provide. Bass lovers will definitely find their place at the Float Den as Nero, Datsik, Feed Me, What So Not, NGHTMRE and a B2B set with Mija and Anna Lunoe will smash ears, subs and more over the March weekend.

Oh, yeah, Pretty Lights will also be performing with his Live Band. You should not miss this!

The Ball Room will host Purity Ring, Crystal Castles, Rae Sremmurd, AlunaGeorge and more for a weekend filled with just as many genres as the Power Plant. The B2B set between Cashmere Cat and Trippy Turtle doesn’t happen often, so when it does, you better be a part of it.

BUKU will send some “off-the-wall” acts such as Sam Feldt, Claptone, Jai Wolf, SNBRN, TOKIMONSTA and more to the Back Alleys of New Orleans. The intimate setting will be perfect if you like dark room beats, future bass or some one-of-a-kind artists. A B2B set from Dirtybird favorites J.Phlip and Kill Frenzy should definitely be on everyone’s schedule.

If you want some extra special treatment from BUKU, purchase a VIP pass for a chance to hear some intimate and exclusive sets from acts ready to make their mark on 2016. Autograf, Louis the Child, Illenium, Prince Fox and now Sweater Beats will be playing on the S.S. BUKU for all the VIP guests. The Front Yard will be featuring some rising artists perfect to get everyone in the mood for the two day festival.

BUKU also released a madlib for everyone to insert their favorite artists and moods. Check it out below:

Music has always been a passion of mine, being the kid trying to find the latest music to listen to. In college, I was exposed to Emalkay's "When I Look At You" and EDM quickly became my favorite genre. I hope to show people through writing what EDM has done to me and hope I can help people discover the beauty that is EDM.
