Who Are You Seeing at Mamby on the Beach?
We’re a week away from Mamby on The Beach so you know what time it is…set scheduling time! Check out the Daily Schedule below, login here and let everyone know which sets you’ll be at by connecting with Facebook. Having trouble deciding? Only The Beat has you covered with a run-down of the sets we are most excited for.
If you’re feeling the house groove on Saturday, we would definitely suggest going to the Mixmag DJ tent and finding your spot for the entire day. With Gene Farris, Sonny Fodera, Billy Kenny, Hannah Wants, Shiba San, Audion and finally Tale of Us, you will not go wrong with this stage whatsoever. All these acts can and will shred the decks, so don’t be surprised if a couple 1’s and 2’s end up in pieces from these sets.
Don’t get stuck there though as Kaytranada, Tycho, Animal Collective and more turn the Park Stage into a party and a half. These eclectic artists will turn this stage into a existential forest as you search for that moment you’ll remember forever. Summer’s in full force and it’s freakin’ hot, so wear your bathing suit, bring your friends and your favorite drink as you listen to Miami Horror, Thomas Jack, Milky Chance and more on the Beach Stage. Float away to the sweet sounds of summer at this one of a kind stage.
Only The Beat has a special treat for the people at Mamby as IMJUSTINBRAUN makes his Mamby debut at the Silent Disco on Sunday from 3:15-4:15. He certainly knows how to have fun, so put on those headphones and dance away like there’s no tomorrow in the summer heat. If you need a warmup, check out Jerry Folk on the Beach stage for some solid indie dance to get your Sunday started.
I would definitely urge everyone to go see Gallant on the Beach Stage. After absolutely blowing up Coachella and The Tonight Show, along with his two sets at Firefly Music Festival, come listen to why he is one of the fastest rising stars in R&B.
Gallant – Open Up
From Gallant on, you can’t go wrong at either stage as Chicago native Derrick Carter performs at the Mixmag DJ Tent, Chromeo and Lupe Fiasco share set times on different stages before Chet Faker, Loco Dice and Santigold close out the festival in big style.
If you think this is the best Mamby on the Beach has, you’re sadly mistaken. With countless food vendors, plenty of activities and afterparties just announced (check out their Facebook) this is the tip of the iceberg for the festival and I for one am excited to see and hear about how amazing Mamby will be this year.
If you haven’t already, you can still purchase tickets from Flavorus. With GA at $199, it’s a great value buy for July 4th and with VIP promising some pretty unique perks (exclusive water access!) for only $30 more, this is one festival you should splurge on and go VIP.
Check back soon to Only The Beat for more information about the festival including afterparties, special food vendors and more. Who are the acts you can’t wait to see? Let us know in the comments below and on Facebook.
