Tritonal – Air Up There Episode 100 – Recap

Maybe this was a little pat on their own back. Dave Reed and Chad Cisneros, the duo that forms Tritonal, played their 100th episode of Air Up There in quite possibly the most epic way  possible. In what was their first show in their own hometown, the pair sold out Emo’s East and put on an absolutely amazing show for all of the friends, family, and Tritonians in attendance.

Behind the stage and across from the green room, a full radio broadcast was in effect as the show was streamed live on Sirius XM. Unfortunately for fans, the 100th episode of Air Up There was also the last. Never fear though, a new show called Tritonia is scheduled to begin in 2013. Tritonal wants to brand their new show around the people that make all of this possible for them, the fans, The Tritonians. They will continue to release Tracks under the Air Up There label as well as sign new talent, but feel that making their fans the center of their new radio show (which will be now be syndicated on Sirius XM, DI Radio, and many more stations) is the best way to give back to them. That being said, look for a new website and forum to launch in the bear future that will act as a place for Tritonians to come and interact, share stories, and views photos and videos from Tritonal’s gigs all over the world.

The Finnish duo Super 8 & Tab and German’s Kyau & Albert were along for the party as well! Besides guesting on the podcast, they put on a spectacular show that got the crowd up and moving properly. These four guys fit right into the scene and are some of the friendliest artists we’ve ever worked with.

Cristina Soto may have stolen the show. She was looking extremely vibrant in her flight attendant outfit and you could feel the crowd react when she took the stage.

For anyone that has seen a Tritonal show you know they are energetic and put on a great set. Having seen a few myself, this one without a doubt grabs the top spot. Enjoy the pictures and videos and definitely make it a priority to see Tritonal the next time they’re in your city! Major props to Disco Donnie Presents and NightCulture for decking out Emo’s and putting on this production, we really couldn’t have asked for a better night.
