Lane 8’s Seattle Debut with Gold Panda at Neumos on 8/7

Melodic, deep, and sexy. Three words that come to mind when I think of Lane 8.

I first discovered Lane 8, aka Daniel Goldstein, last summer. I remember being instantly captivated by the warm, groovy vibes of “Be Mine,” and hungry for more of his sound.

With the rise of deep house in America I’ve often felt as though many tracks within the genre have the tendency (at times) to lack rich melodies or a deeply emotional component.

Luckily, Lane 8 crafts down tempo productions that are as compelling as they are beautiful.

It’s been an earfully delicious year with the release of his hypnotic EP, The One, and successful remixes of Above & Beyond and Eric Prydz.

The San Francisco native has established himself as a household name on Anjunadeep and now he’s finally making his Seattle debut (huge thanks to Decibel!).
