Kygo Is Finally Coming To Seattle
Norway’s own Kygo is set to bring his emotionally charged house music to Seattle later this year. He has not played in Seattle before but has put on amazing shows across the country and semi-locally in Vancouver and Oregon. Now it is Washington’s turn.
On October 4th, Kygo will be performing at The Crocodile, one of my favorite venues in the city. With such an intimate setting, Kygo’s music is sure to move the crowd in ways other artists simply can not. I was fortunate enough to see his first ever North American performance in Vancouver this past May where he put on one of the best sets I have ever witnessed. Kygo is an amazing producer but also has amazing music selection when behind the decks.
He is also one of the few artists I have come across who opens with their most popular song, in this case it was I See Fire. Usually if an artist does this they are blowing their best moment in their set right off the bat, but Kygo showed us all why he is a force to be reckoned with by laying down a set that still gives me chills to this day.
Mixing in deep house, tropical house, and that traditional Kygo sound all into one amazing performance takes a lot of skill, and Kygo sure possesses it. Make sure you do not miss out on the legend when he comes into The Crocodile on October 4th. Tickets go on sale August 1st and can be found here: Kygo @ The Crocodile Event Information \ Tickets
