Lights All Night Set Times are Announced, Craziness!

At long last, we can start planning out which acts to see at Lights All Night 2014 because set times have officially been released! With 10 days left until the event, Highland Concerts has made this year a bit crazier with 4 packed stages of acts to choose from. Take a look at the list and see the break down below.

Lights All Night Set Times

Friday

Spanning 4 stages (one that hasn’t been named yet) Friday opens at 5pm with some up and coming producers as WISHFM kicks off the night at 6 on the Mothership 2.0 stage. Andrew Rayel will be performing at 7 on the unknown stage, which I will definitely have to see. 8 PM brings choices as Jesse Hutton plays at the Deep End, DJ Mustard at the unknown stage and Tchami at the Mothership stage. Since I’ll be at Andrew Rayel, I may stay there but it’s going to be tough not to jump around with the line up above. Sunnery James & Ryan Marciano come on at 9 as Boys Noize, Trill Wave and Gamma follow at 9:30.

This is the hardest moment of the night. From here on out, if you want a good spot you may just want to stay at your desired stage. Craziness will surely ensue as Zeke & Zoid makes way for The Hi Yahs at The Turn Up while Demarkus Lewis and Justin Jay close out The Deep End. The second stage starts with Crizzly at 10:30 followed by Oliver Heldens an hour later and Chromeo’s DJ set closing out the night at 12:45. While this second stage is sure to sway your mind, the Mothership 2.0 stage will be featuring Zedd at 10:45 with Skrillex closes out day 1 at 12:30. With news about Dog Blood making a return, it would be wild to see if Boys Noize will join Skrillex for an impromptu set. Maybe, just maybe?

I’m going to have to put some real thought into into my night. The real question is, who will you be seeing on Friday?

Saturday

If you thought Friday was hard, wait until Saturday’s line up. 5 o’clock rolls around and you have the choice of seeing some new faces before Firebeatz and Audien hit the Mothership and second stage at 7:00. To make matters worse, at 8 you must decide between The Chainsmokers or 12th planet. Hunter Vaughn and Raging Pandas start at 8:30 at the Deep End and The Turn Up.

Saturday at 9:00 PM will be the time to choose how your night ends, The Mothership stage or the second stage as Odesza will be making a splash followed by Disclosure and Armin Van Buuren at the mainstage. What a stellar way to end what is sure to be a killer holiday weekend. If trance isn’t your favorite genre, step your way over to the second stage as Paper Diamond opens the night and Seven Lions and Zed’s Dead smash the bass before DJ Snake takes the stage by storm at 1:00 AM. Yes, that lineup is real, and no I have no idea who I’m going to choose.

Don’t let the first two stages force your decision as The Deep End will feature MSCLS, Left/Right and Christian Martin while The Turn Up will feature Lady Party, Jack Bass X Riot Ten and Jayceooh. The Turn Up is sure to turn a big crowd with heavy bass hitters if you weren’t feeling the bass from the second stage.

On Saturday, I would love to see all these acts but without having a Time-Turner (yes, that is a Harry Potter reference) I guess I have to decide. I need to make sure to put on my pedometer as I will probably make my way between the two main stages starting with Audien, working my way over to the main stage for The Chainsmokers and ODESZA before making my way back over for Zed’s Dead. Trying to decide between DJ Snake and Armin is a tough one but I Armin is my man this time. I don’t know the next time he will be back so have I’m going to take advantage and close out the weekend in the best way possible.

Sarah Lawrence, I may need your Temporary Tattoos for this one.

Whew, this is going to be one crazy couple of days. From the well-known artists to the those trying to make their big break, Lights All Night is quickly making a name for itself as one of the premier music festivals in America. OWSLA seems to have taken a liking to this festival as they have earned themselves their own stage in Mothership 2.0.

Tickets are still on sale, but purchase them fast as they will most likely sell out soon. Check out their website www.lightsallnight.com for more information and total LAN immersion and feel free to comment below with who you are going to see at the 5th annual Lights All Night, I could use your help to decide my night!

Music has always been a passion of mine, being the kid trying to find the latest music to listen to. In college, I was exposed to Emalkay's "When I Look At You" and EDM quickly became my favorite genre. I hope to show people through writing what EDM has done to me and hope I can help people discover the beauty that is EDM.
