5 Artists Not To Miss At Snowglobe 2014

Snowglobe Music Festival has released the most epic lineup to date to ring in 2015. South Lake Tahoe is going off with a bang this year, with headliners such as Skrillex, Flume, and Porter Robinson just to name a few. Snowglobe takes music festivals to a whole new level; get ready to be in the snowy field of South Lake Tahoe, bundled up in your snow gear, where the only option to keep warm is by dancing to the beats of some of the best music producers in the world with your closest friends.

Could you ask for more?

I have compiled the top 5 sets that I believe are a MUST SEE for this year’s festival, and these sets are sure to hit… and hit hard.

Number 5 – Woolymammoth

Not far from home, Woolymammoth is a San Francisco native that will sway you with deep trap and futuristic sounds, in fact he provides enough bass to make you forget it’s winter.

Number 4 – Djemba Djemba

This Mad Decent gem has been touring across the states all year, and has been a definite must see for me. I am SO happy that Djemba Djemba is going to tear up the Sierra tent on Tuesday night with his wompy and trancy tracks and remixes, taking everyone on a serious wave of sound to start the night right.

Number 3 – G Jones

G Jones has sprouted from the bass gods in a serious way this year, and I could not be more ecstatic that we get to see him impress on the opening night of the festival. I am sure he will set the tone by throwing down bass heavy tracks, new and old, leaving you frantically pulling up Shazam to figure out what you just heard. Alas, I’ll be surprised if something does show up, because this boy is 100% original, fresh, and experimental, and it works every time.

Number 2 – ODESZA

Rounding out the year from an around the world tour, ODESZA has struck the planet with their beauty and will hopefully never stop. With their recent “In Return” LP released earlier this year, they have kept true to serving up a new wave of future sounds that hit deep and float high. Rolling us straight into New Years Eve, ODESZA will be the perfect transition to the NYE hype that South Lake Tahoe has to offer.

Number 1 – What So Not

Hailing all the way from Australia, the “bang-sex” duo will be leaving their summer down under to hit the cold winter mountains, and deliver a set that for what I am sure will be nothing short of AWESOME. Emoh Instead has carried the name What So Not all over America this year, and the sheer possibility that we will get to see BOTH Chris, AND Harley ring us into 2015?!? Well… that will just be the highlight of my year. Hands. Down.

Single day tickets to Snowglobe are still available, but are selling out quickly. Snag yours here before it’s too late! Or if you are a super night owl like me, catch these guys at the Official After Parties.
