Guess who’s joining Tiesto for Something Wonderful!

Something Wonderful is happening this year in Dallas. Disco Donnie Presents, Full Access and Nightculture are presenting the inaugural Something Wonderful concert, happening April 18th at the Cotton Bowl in Dallas, Texas. After the continued success of Something Wicked (their Halloween event in Houston) the companies decided to create a spring counterpart in Dallas. Something Wonderful will be infiltrating the Cotton Bowl bringing with them some of the top names in the electronic music industry.

Look at this Lineup!

After announcing Tiesto as the headliner, everyone anxiously awaited who else would be performing at the Cotton Bowl. At long last they have finally announced the other acts – and dear lord just look at this lineup: Zed’s Dead, Carnage, Cedric Gervais, Ummet Ozcan, Bro Safari, Keys ‘N Krates and DVBBS will all be invading Fair Park bringing with them a massive crowd to boot. Hold up just a second though, that’s not all. Ansolo, Brillz, Mako, Mr. Carmack, Slander, Snails, Surain and Troyboi will also be jumping on the Something Wonderful bus making this inaugural event something for everyone to attend.

Tiesto alone will bring in a massive crowd but adding in the supporting acts, if you want to call them that, this is sure to be a must-see event. Looking at the lineup, I can see a nice split of progressive house and big room followed by a steady stream of bass heavy artists. My thoughts on lineup… they go a little like this.

Mainstage: Progressive House/ Big Room House

Headliner: Tiesto

Supporting: Cedric Gervais, Ummet Ozcan, DVBBS, Ansolo, Mako, Surain

Second Stage: Dubstep/ Trap/ Bass Music

Headliner: Zed’s Dead

Supporting: Carnage, Bro Safari, Keys ‘N Krates, Brillz, Mr. Carmack, Slander, Snails, TroyBoi

 Pretty even split isn’t it?

Personally I’m excited to see Slander, Mako, Keys ‘N Krates and Carnage. After Slander splashed into the scene after their mainstage set at Nocturnal Wonderland, I’ve had them highlighted in my book as a must see act. Hopefully they bring the same energy to Dallas as they will be promoting their new EP. Sadly I see the tough decision of either seeing Zed’s Dead or Tiesto for your late night raving depending on your heart’s desire. How do you make that decision?

Currently tickets are still relatively low, general admission only costs $74 dollars, but that price won’t stay long. Prices will be increased soon so get your tickets quick, not to mention that they will probably sell out. You can purchase your tickets now through their website (Click Here!) along with buying some inaugural items including a water bottle and a LED Glow Motion Bracelet, which changes color with the music.

Follow the event through their Facebook and Twitter pages along with the hashtag #SomethingWonderful. Mark your calendars now, this is going to be big.

Music has always been a passion of mine, being the kid trying to find the latest music to listen to. In college, I was exposed to Emalkay's "When I Look At You" and EDM quickly became my favorite genre. I hope to show people through writing what EDM has done to me and hope I can help people discover the beauty that is EDM.
