Decibel Festival Gets A Bit Dirty……Bird

Do you like house music? Do you like to shake your ass at functions? Do you like not having to travel hundreds of miles to camp in a sea of inhibited bros and give up a lot of comfort just for a music festival? Well then do I have a deal for you!

The annual music takeover of Seattle is quickly approaching. Yes, Decibel Festival is back and this time, things just got a little deeper and a whole lot dirtier. Dirty Bird, the SF based American House music record label headed up by the one and only Claude Von Stroke, is set to bring some of their weirdest and wildest to the stages of Seattle for not one, but two Decibel Festival showcases.

First up, things get a little mad with Q Nightclub’s weekly Saturday night event Madness (Sept 26th) once again being taken over by the groovy Shiba San, but this time he has brought some friends. Justin Jay and Christian Martin will both be joining the fun and bringing some slick house beats for those in attendance. Last time Shiba San was at Q, the place was packed and going off. Now, with three times the talent in the building, it would be safe to assume Q might not be left standing afterwards.

On Sunday (Sept 27th) Dirty Bird is back at it but this time, things have moved outdoors. DB In The Park will be held at Volunteer Park in Seattle, and will feature the legendary J.Phlip. Christian Martin will also be gracing the stages and a “Very Special Guest” (tba) will also be joining the festivities. Local support includes Michael Manahan and Sean Majors, so the event is primed to be incredible.

It seems as though Seattle based Dirty Bird fans are in for a treat at this year’s Decibel Festival. Passes to the festival are still available, or if you don’t want to dish our money for the entire event, each showcase has tickets available specifically for it. From LA to Seattle, the West Coast has always been my home and I take great pride in the music scene we have here. Bass music is my first love, but in reality I love and appreciate all types of music...besides country. Let the music talk. You just have to be ready to listen.
