So there you have it… the two day set times, who will you be seeing?

Initial worries are the decisions between Tchami/Above & Beyond, Seven Lions/Mija and DJ Snake/Destructo, and the biggest choice, why would I leave the Drumcode Stage (Beatport Stage) on Sunday?

Come Meet Only The Beat!

If you’re looking to meet with one of us from Only The Beat you will probably find us here (no promises though, music plans change, but use this as a guideline)

-3:30-4:30 Salva

-4:30-5:00 Lookas

-5:00-6:00 Lane 8

-6:00-7:00 Claptone

-7:00-8:00 Benny Benassi

-8:15-9:30 Mija (I may also split time with Seven Lions)

-9:30-10:45 Destructo

10:45-11:15 Tchami

11:15-12:00 Above & Beyond

Yes, I might be missing 30 minutes of Above & Beyond, but after 2 failed attempts at seeing Tchami (Lights All Night and Something Wonderful) I am making it a priority to see at least a little bit of him.

-2:00-3:00 Layton Giordani

-3:15-4:15 Peking Duk* (dependent on the vibes coming from Layton)

-4:30-5:15 Alan Fitzpatrick

-5:15-6:00 Slander

-6:00-7:00 Green Velvet (depending on mood, may see The Chainsmokers or Cash Cash)

-7:00-10:00 Adam Beyer & Ida Engberg

As much as it would be great to see Jack U, Tritonal, Steve Aoki and Blasterjaxx, I can’t miss Adam Beyer & Ida Engberg. 3 hour set! The power couple always has great sets and Houston gets to be a part of the Techno takeover happening across the country now. Granted I may be a little impartial as a special something is coming after the event… so keep your eyes peeled.

With craft beer on tap, food vendors and VIP bottle service, Something Wicked is shaping up to be a Halloween event you will not want to miss. If the set times aren’t getting you excited, check out the trailer below.

You can still purchase your tickets for Something Wicked from their website (though ticket prices increase Monday night) and you can purchase tickets for the official pre-parties too with Adventure Club and Candyland at Stereo Live and Club Rio, respectively. After parties for Saturday are available as well, get your tickets now as they are going quickly.

Music has always been a passion of mine, being the kid trying to find the latest music to listen to. In college, I was exposed to Emalkay's "When I Look At You" and EDM quickly became my favorite genre. I hope to show people through writing what EDM has done to me and hope I can help people discover the beauty that is EDM.
