Eric Prydz Announces Phase I of EPIC 4.0

After teasing us back in October with a coy picture of a hard drive labeled “EPIC MSG BACKUP” and a manila folder titled “EPIC 4.0,” we’ve known the Swedish progressive house phenom has had some ideas about the next installment his legendary EPIC tour.

Eric Prydz’s last EPIC show, EPIC 3.0, sold out Madison Square Garden while simultaneously pushing the boundaries of live performance in a genre begging for constant innovation. Not only is everything done live for his EPIC performances, from the lighting and pyrotechnics to the groundbreaking holographic animations, the latest EPIC set was Mr. Prydz largest venue to date as the sole performer. The massive 3 hour set laid down that night is simply unforgettable.


It’s been a huge summer for Mr. Prydz, who has constantly debuted music on his Apple Music radio show, has also released 3 Pryda EP’s and a Cirez D EP, along with announced his first full-length album, titled “Opus,” to be released February 6, 2016. Since closing his EDC Las Vegas set with it, the eponymous single has been making waves all summer in addition to it’s remix by the legendary producer Four Tet.

EPIC 4.0, Phase I has announced 5 shows across 3 cities so far, with the first shows at New York City’s Terminal 5, two more at LA’s Palladium, and a final show at San Francisco’s Armory. Be sure to check back with us for all the latest announcements regarding Eric Prydz EPIC 4.0 and don’t forget to  grab your tickets when they go on sale Friday, December 4, 2015 at noon.
