Ghastly, Slumberjack and TastyTreat Take Over CONTROL This Friday!

This weeks Control at Avalon Hollywood is about to be a Bass filled one! The line up for this week includes Ghastly, Slumberjack, TastyTreat and more! Get your tickets for this amazing night of music here.

The headliner for the night Ghastly, a veteran of the LA-scene, made a name for himself in 2015. As a pioneer of the “future bass” sound, Ghastly has received heavy support from top industry talent including Skrillex, Diplo, Dillon Francis, Tchami, and many more. With releases already out on labels like OWSLA, Buygore, and Dim Mak, Ghastly’s unique fusion of House, Trap, and Dupstep will no doubt find its way into speaker stacks across in world in 2016. Politely abominable and casually destructive, he wields the catch phrase “born to die” as a mantra to his chaotic lifestyle, and is set to deliver an unforgettable set to CONTROL this Friday.

Morgan Then and Fletcher Ehlers make up the Australian born and based duo Slumberjack. Known for their bass heavy and melody-driven creative sound, Slumberjack’s debut self titled EP climbed to #1 on Hype Machine and #2 on the iTunes electronic charts back in 2014. Since then, the duo has put out a slew of singles, including their sought-after remix of Alison Wonderland’s “Cold”, and have toured across the United States and Australia.

TastyTreat’s distinct sound is composed of bass-infused drums, bouncy basslines, and sexy synthesizers. The California based duo, made up of members John Smith and Devin Hardy, are notorious for their lust-driven productions and skillfully crafted DJ sets. With music featured on BBC Radio 1, Rinse FM, and the official Mad Decent Block Party playlist, the duo has caught the attention of established artists including Thugli, Ryan Hemsworth, Grandtheft, and MSTRKRFT.
