Global Dance Festival Set to Takeover Red Rocks in July
We are officially less than three weeks away from celebrating one of Colorado’s largest dance music events, Global Dance Festival at Red Rocks Amphitheatre. If this one somehow snuck under your radar, don’t worry – we have everything you need to know about it right here. Headlining artists include Above&Beyond, DJ Snake, Knife Party, Dash Berlin and W&W.
Whether you spent this past weekend at Electric Daisy Carnival or listening to the live sets on Sirius XM Electric Area, one thing is for sure, each of these artists absolutely dominated their sets. Above & Beyond brought a fan’s grandparents on stage to “Push The Button”, DJ Snake did exactly what he does best, Knife Party almost killed everyone with lazers, Dash Berlin dropped a nasty remake of “Seven Nation Army”, and W&W took us back in time with Sandstorm.
Also, a huge congratulations to Anna Lunoe for making history over the weekend. Lunoe was the first woman to play solo on the EDC Las Vegas main stage in the 20 year history of the festival. One thing is certain, we are definitely looking forward to her set at Global Dance this year! Make sure to give her EDC set a listen too.

Global Dance Festival is growing up fast celebrating its 13th year! Speaking of things going fast, passes are on the brink of selling out. Three-day general admission passes are $180 + taxes and fees and all ages VIP passes are $300 + taxes and fees. If you have never been to Red Rocks, the VIP tickets are quite a steal. The first 10 rows at Red Rocks are roped off immersing you in the production and sound, providing you with access to the best seats in the house. Also included with VIP is access to the front VIP section on the second stage and a collectable laminate pass. For those who have already purchased their passes, you will be permitted to enter the parking lots of Red Rocks as early as 9:00 A.M., box office opens at 3:00 P.M. and show starts at 5:00. If you are headed to the festival and still need to set up lodging, look no further, Global Dance has a list of hotels that you can book. General festival information and venue guidelines can be found here. A good rule of thumb – if you don’t absolutely need it, don’t bring it.
