Moxxy - Booky

Wednesday, June 06, 2012

This song reminds me of something that would be playing during the build up to a fight scene in Green Street Hooligans. Tons of high energy with bouncy synth sounds and a fat bass line. Also commonly referred to in the music industry as all the right ingredients of a BANGER. Grab all of Moxxy's free downloads

Bio: Moxxy is the Phoenix-based house music duo comprised of producer/DJs Benito Lugo and Trevor Osterman. Formerly known under the name La Sape, Lugo and Osterman emerged into the local electronic music scene back in 2010 and have been swiftly rising in ranks ever since. Quickly making a name for themselves with La Sape, the two have played in several cities around the country including Phoenix, Scottsdale, San Francisco and Chicago, opening for notable names such as Sebastian Ingrosso, Kaskade, Calvin Harris, Dirty South, Designer Drugs, Nervo, Autoerotique, Gabriel & Dresden, Midnight Conspiracy, and more. The two have also played both of Insomniac’s Soundwave Music Festivals held in Phoenix. Their tracks and remixes have received support from artists like Clockwork, Autoerotique, and Midnight Conspiracy. The two changed their name in early 2012, kickstarting the Moxxy image and brand with high aspirations and the intent to change the face of electronic music to come. With their debut release of their remix of Nicky Romero’s “Toulouse”, Moxxy sets and will continue to set a standard for bass-heavy house music in the electronic community with no plans of letting up anytime soon and surely making them a name to look out for.
