Tyler Sherritt Reworks Hans Zimmer’s ‘Time’
Tyler Sherritt may have outdone himself on this one. The progressive house/trance DJ and producer has laid down an amazing rework of Hans Zimmer’s ‘Time’ from the 2010 movie, “Inception.”
So why did Sherritt decide to rework this piece?
Sherritt: “I have always been intrigued by the art and composition of movie soundtracks, as it is such a vital part of filmmaking; to evoke the feelings intended by the film maker. ‘Time,’ a piece by composer Hans Zimmer, is from Christopher Nolan’s Oscar-nominated film ‘Inception’ and does just that. I find it to be one of the most emotional and heart-wrenching pieces of music I have ever heard.
After learning I would be joining the lineup of TomorrowWorld this year, and having this knowledge and appreciation for Hans Zimmer’s ‘Tomorowland Hymn,’ I found it appropriate to remix or ‘rework’ one of my favorite pieces.”
There’s something to be said about not waiting for the drop, and to be quite frank it’s refreshing to listen to song that’s not centered around it. Read more on Sherritt’s take here.
This rework is a beautiful and emotional journey. Thanks Tyler for releasing this! Take a listen and download it for free:

And while you are at it, watch the closing scene of Inception. I’m still crossing my fingers for a second film and I’m probably not the only one!
