"Broken beats, for broken lives!" At least that's what the Soundcloud bio for K Theory says. And it looks as though the K's did get together and broke up some beats. These tracks, taken off of the K Theory - K+Lab Remixes
definitely sound like they broke the record, then said "screw it", glued it back together, and pressed play anyways. The two tracks are both fairly hard hitting, heavy on the glitch tracks and help leave the listener a little less broken in the end.
K Theory is the trio of Malcolm Anthony (vocals), Dylan Lewman (sampling, live conducting), and Dustin Musser (Keys, sampling). Playing a mix of machines and instruments, the group recognizes no boundaries. Not even their limited conscious creativity can stop them. With top releases on OWSLA, Simplify and their own homegrown K Theory Music label, and chart topping singles and major label released remixes, they are heavily respected amongst the intelligent bass and hip hop scenes.
