Taylor Wise: A Fresh Face In Tropical House

I just can’t seem to get enough of this summer soaked genre we call tropical house. Now, here I am with arms wide open, ready to seize the day with this freshly pressed Taylor Wise tropical pop remix of Galantis’s “Runaway”.

It’s pretty clear that I have a thing for tropical house, loving artists like Mokoa, Kygo, Thero, Thomas Jack, the list goes on, but there’s something unique about this artist.

This might seem strange or a little startling, but Wise has been in the game for awhile now, although not in the same genre. He used to provide sick hip-hop instrumentals for Chris Webby (One Song & Roll), a Caucasian rapper who reminds me of my childhood….he was the headliner at my first concert.

It’s quite funny, because I used to have a knack for white rappers, and now I am all about the EDM, but that’s besides the point.

Galantis – Runaway (Taylor Wise Remix)

The best part or I guess most unique part about all of this, is that Niles from The Cataracs taught him to implement his skills in production.

So hard to stand apart with the ever-growing genre of tropical music, but with a past like that, how could you not?
