CONTROL Gets Tropical This Friday With Matoma & Friends

All you Tropical House LA fans better get ready for this Friday's (10/23/15) Control LA show at Avalon Hollywood. This week they have Tropical House star Matoma supported by Dropout, Prince Fox, Bryce Vine, and LA Favorites The Interns. So needless to say this is a show you aren't going to want to miss! Matoma's ability to capture the sunshine and please any crowd has put him at the forefront of the tropical house movement. His remix of Notorious B.I.G ft Ja Rule “Old Thing Back” has racked up over 14 million plays on SoundCloud, and he has since has collabed with artists like Enrique Iglesias, Imagine Dragons, Tegan & Sara. Santa Barbara trio Dropout is comprised of long time friends and producers Ethan Davis, Ray Nowak and Selden. The group anonymously released their smash song “Slowly”, quickly gaining support from Pete Tong and being named BBC Radio 1’s Essential Tune of the Week. Prince Fox found himself on Beatport’s Top 5 Chart for his official remixes of Cazzette’s “Blind Heart,” and SNBRN’s “Raindrops”, which also hit #1 on Hype Machine and has racked up over 4 million plays on Soundcloud. The young producer just this month released his debut EP titled ‘Musings’ with Casablanca Records. The Interns, a Los Angeles-based duo, has lit up major festivals and clubs across California, and played alongside acts like Duke Dumont, Booka Shade, Christian Martin, and Galantis. With their signature blend of soulful house and techno, The Interns have seen over 100,000 plays and widespread blog support on just three installments of their lauded "The Interns Present" mix series.
