Flume salutes Sydney in newest music video

Flume is globally renowned, incredibly accomplished, and shows no signs of slowing down. Still, the super producer took a turn back to his Australian roots in the music video to his new song, “Some Minds” featuring Miike Snow’s Andrew Wyatt. The video was filmed in the iconic Sydney Opera House and put together by director Clemens Habicht. According to Facebook, the video is the team’s “love letter to Sydney.”

Flume stars in the video, in which he floats through the empty Opera House (they filmed at night) until he reaches the main stage. From there, he begins dancing with the assistance of some special effects that distort his body as the beat drops. The video is an eerie merger of the real and unreal that accurately reflects the vibes of the song.

The song itself is another wonderful track by Flume. Andrew Wyatt supplied the lyrics and vocals; his sound nicely complemented Flume’s production style. Flume includes a surprising, glitchy drop at the end that does Wyatt’s vocals justice.
