Lazy Sundays 42

Lazy Sundays 42 features an EXTREMELY RARE Trance Around The World with Above and Beyond , a rare, unofficial bootleg from Laidback Luke, the new release from Kaskade and Adam Kloop, and many more. This week, I dug extra deep to bring you some treats.

Willow Smith vs Bassnectar – Whip My Hair Here We Go (Derek Sabiston Bootleg)

Yes. Yes. So. Much. Yes.

Kaskade ft. Adam Klopp – Please Say You Will (Original Mix)

‘Please Say You Will’ is Kaskade’s premier single with Adam Klopp off of his upcoming REDUX EP, being released on vinyl sometime next week. Kaskade remarked that ‘Please Say You Will’ is, “the most unlikely single because the rest of the cuts are straight HOUSE,” but also as the track that stood out as “something special.” The track is a breath of refreshing downtempo. Check it out!

Brodinski – Live @ BBC Radio 1 Residency – 10.04.2014

Brodinski is a cool dude from France. If you’ve never checked out one of his sets, then check out his latest mix for his residency over at BBC Radio 1. The Parisian producer is described by RA (Resident Advisor) as, “…noisy techno, bass heavy house through to more melodic minimal.” Brodinski frequently works with Gesaffelstein. I recommend checking out their House Of Vans X Boiler Room Berlin set.

Shlomi Aber – Mind Tribus (Original Mix)

I have been waiting for this for a couple of months now. Shlomi Aber is a gem to the techno world. ‘Mind Tribus’ is a part of the Desolat X-Sampler, released by Desolat on March 10th.

Mark Knight – Live @ Duplex Club (Prague) – 04.04.2014

On April 4th, Toolroom king Mark Knight stopped by the Duplex Club in Prague, Czech Republic in celebration of Duplex’s 14th Anniversary. Knight delivered this special two-hour live performance. Dig in.

Sam Paganini – White (Original Mix)  *Unreleased*

Techno producer Sam Paganini has a few bombs that will be released on Drumcode later this year. Check out ‘White’, which is ripped from Drumcode Radio 181.

Jay-Z & Rihanna vs Drifta – Run This Town (Drifta Drum & Bass Remix)

‘Run This Town’ meets drum and bass. The result is stellar. Big ups to Drifta on this innovative remix.

David Guetta vs Swedish House Mafia vs Congorock – Love Takes Over One (Laidback Luke Bootleg)

Unfortunately, this is NOT an official Laidback Luke bootleg. It’s a bootleg that he’s spun in sets, and I was very pleased to come across it. This needs to become viral.

O.A.R. – Naked   *UNRELEASED*

I couldn’t help myself. ‘Naked’ is one of the unreleased, “retired” tracks that O.A.R. will play on tour occasionally. O.A.R. isn’t electronic dance music, but O.A.R. is perfect for a lazy Sunday.

Old School Fire: Above and Beyond – Trance Around The World 3 – 03.02.2004

It is with great pleasure that I end this week’s episode of Lazy Sundays with Above and Beyond’s ancient third episode of Trance Around The World from 2004. There are a bunch of Trance Around The World episodes that have been lost over the years. I am grateful to come across this recently. This is truly a gift for the diehard trance fan, especially those who still confess their undying love for TATW. I have included the full tracklist in the link. Enjoy.

That’s all for this week. Thank you for stopping by, and I hope that all of these tracks and sets find a place in your week to make it ten times better. See you next Sunday.  Cheers!
