Lazy Sundays 47

Lazy Sundays 47 showcases music from Avicii, Steve Angello, Claude VonStroke, Diddy ft. Guy Gerber, Old School Fire, Reggae Revival, and some of the hottest tracks in techno, tech house, and deep house. It’s time to tune in to the chillest playlist you’ll find this weekend.

Old School Fire: Avicii – So Excited [VICIOUS]

Released back in July 2009 on Vicious, Avicii’s “So Excited” is by far his most UNDERRATED track. Nobody talks about this, and I’ve never heard it in any Avicii set or mix. This track was my go-to back in Fall 2011.

Mirko Flower – Shaker (Stefano Kosa Remix)  [PUSH PUSH]

I could include a Stefano Kosa track in every Lazy Sundays playlist. He is that talented. It’s truly amazing what Kosa was able to crank out in his remix of Mirko Flower’s “Shaker.” Kosa is a tech house producer that you should keep your eye on for the rest of 2014 and beyond.

Claude VonStroke – ENTER. Terrace, Week 2 (Space,Ibiza) 2014

Dirtybird chief VonStroke’s ENTER. Terrace set from July 10th is the set of the week, hands down. You MUST listen to this!

Steve Angello – Humanity 2 Man [POOL E]

Yes. Angello’s 2004 release “Humanity 2 Man” is full of tribal drum goodness. When the tribal drums hit, there’s nothing that can’t be accomplished in this world.

Richy Ahmed ft. Kevin Knapp – The Drums  [HOT CREATIONS]

Richy Ahmed’s full solo debut on Hot Creations in December 2013 jacks and grooves to the highest degree. “The Drums” is led by a springing baseline that’s leveled by brutal hi-hats and claps that hit like a bazooka.

Chus & Ceballos – Nobody Freaks Like Us (Pete & The Fox Remix) [TOOLROOM]

Released on Toolroom’s ‘Ibiza 2014’ compilation, Pete & The Fox make a statement with their edgy remix of Chus & Ceballos’s “Nobody Freaks Like Us.” The UK-based duo is firing on all cylinders in 2014, receiving heavy support from Carl Cox, Mark Knight, and UMEK to name a few. Pay attention to these two. Toolroom sure is.

Sander Kleinenberg – We-R-Superstars [SPINNIN]

Longtime dance icon Sander Kleinenberg knows how to take calculated risks, because he’s re-entering the game at just the right time, with just the right sound. Timing is everything, and Daft Punk has paved the way for nu-disco experiments. With “We-R-Superstars,” Kleinenberg streamlines the passing of the torch between past successes and forward thinking.

Reggae Revival: The Movement – Set Sail

The Movement’s 2008 release “Set Sail,” is everything you’d want in an uplifting reggae jam. If you’ve never heard this before, then you’re welcome.

Whenever my ship sets sail, I’ll be on the shore /

Dancing with the ocean like I never did before /

And watch it as it comes and goes /

‘Cause I know that someone knows /

This is the life for me /

Sander van Doorn – Guitar Track (Sam Feldt Remix) [FREE DOWNLOAD]

Tropical House is coming on strong this summer, and Sam Feldt is making sure that it stays around. If you aren’t in Paradise when you hear this, then I don’t know what to tell you. Sander van Doorn is.

Diddy ft. Guy Gerber – My Heart

The long-awaited ’11 11′ collaboration between Diddy and Guy Gerber has been everything that we all hoped it would be. These two are geniuses in their own right, and the hip-hop meets electronic music rendezvous is a success. The ’11 11′ project is aimed at outliers and after-hours, not main-stages and masses.
