I'm anything but shy about how much I love The Chainsmokers
. When #SELFIE
came out, I came pretty close to losing friends because of how much I played it.

Regardless of what you think of their breakout hit, it definitely did something right by bringing completely well-earned attention towards Alex Pall and Drew Taggart
. The two NYC natives were hardly new to the scene, having an impressive catalog of indie rock remixes they had been producing since 2012. With one or two exceptions, #SELFIE is really their only song that sounds...selfie-ish.
- It's not even summer...
Like Sound Remedy
, their Spotify is pretty sparse, so we once again turn to Soundcloud to get our fix.
My favorite thing about these two is how much they seem to be enjoying the ride that their on. Anything from their social media presence to the music they produce to their energy on stage, they fill this sparsely populated collection of DJs that aren't taking themselves too seriously. I absolutely respect an artist that is serious and passionate about their craft (and I'm not saying Alex and Drew aren't), but it's also really refreshing to watch two friends just have fun while they make catchy music for everyone else to enjoy.

Look for me bopping around to their set at Lucky this year. I'll be the one jumping around like a dinosaur.
Keep up to date with the Chainsmokers' new originals, remixes, and radio show on their Soundcloud
. Their Snapchats are also hilarious.
And if you don't have your tickets to Lucky yet, there's still time! You can find them online through Ticketmaster
or head on down to the CenturyLink Field box office
