There's nothing more fun than a little awkward tension between superstars that quickly escalates to low blows! Apparently Deadmau5 just HAD to say something in response to Tiesto's tweet about marrying a new couple in his DJ booth Chapel.
I married a couple in Vegas! Step into the Chapel with me on Ep.2 of In The Booth: http://t.co/xB7gsqosoF — Tiësto (@tiesto) October 25, 2013Deadmau5 felt like it was necessary to call out ACER for their somewhat spammy looking advertising because, well, he is an unhappy little man and feels like it's his job to call everyone out. Luckily for him, everyone in the EDM community has seemed to accept him in this role and let's him get away with being a complete troll. Not exactly the role I would want to be in, it usually doesn't end well for that guy (Think Professor Snape yo...spoiler alert...he dies).
YO DEADMAU5: If ACER WANTS TO SPONSOR AN EVENT WHERE PEOPLE GET TO DANCE AND HAVE FUN....LET THEM.
And this is when things get realllllly awkward...At first glance, these two tweets in succession are undoubtedly awkward. Tiesto apparently laying down the biggest burn one could possibly imagine. The type of burn that if laid down in person, at least in my group of friends, would end up with someone getting punched. (*Deadmau5 proposed to Kat Von D on twitter...Then they broke up)
Joel's ...'s were apparently enough of a sign to let Tiesto know he must have said something wrong. No wait, it was probably the @Deadmau5page crew
Seeing as they're CC'd on the next and much more apologetic tweet from Tiesto apologizing for sounding like a douche. "I didn't meant to be a douche." No Tiesto, you aren't a douche at all, you just use really poor grammar. It's cool, we can forgive you. We're still grateful for the old Trance Tiesto that everyone loved(hence past tense).
So Tiesto does the right thing, he acts like a man and comes up with an extremely good excuse. Such a good excuse that he actually gets Deadmau5 to agree with him about that the fact that his life truly isn't worth following...yet here we are, sigh. The best part about this whole thing was this tweet featured below from @ChiefMagatron (#StonerNation).
