The much anticipated new album from Knife Party titled 'Abandon Ship' that was expected to release on October 27th, 2014 has now been delayed.
As if the wait wasn't already painful, Rob Swire and Gareth McGrillen, the two Australians behind this electronic dance music group, informed us earlier today that the album expected at the end of October will be pushed to November 10th. Here is the tweet they expressed to us. Their full statement they released:
If this news pains you as much as I, they did mention that they did some convincing to put the album up for streaming a week before this new release date. This isn't their first run in with release date issues. Both their Rage Valley EP and their Haunted House EP were pushed back due to missed deadlines and issues beyond their control. Let's hope this is the last set back for this album and any others in the future.
