It's been a few years since Afrojack
, Steve Aoki
, and Miss Palmer took listeners to a new place for the first time. Now, progressive prodigies Renze Michels and Siem Henskens
(aka Reez) have shared their take on the hit. And what a take away it is. Personally, this song holds many fun and amazing memories shared with close friends and strangers. Listening to Reez's version of "No Beef" made me feel the same way when I heard Aoki's original version.
While they do subtract a lot of what made the original sounds so fantastic, what they added does not detract from the original feeling. Reez went bigger and badder on this, garnering much deserved attention. They've added killer chords, massive buildups and break downs, in addition to Miss Palmer's gorgeous voice. All leading up to a frenzied final drop, which is more of a cathartic release than anything else. Any pent up mental exhaustion completely erased in just four minutes and twenty-eight seconds.
Life is to short to hold on to your hang-ups.
Beautifully crafted and hauntingly resonant, this track proves that Reez have earned the praise they have been receiving. As part of reaching 10,000 followers, Reez is giving this track away for free!
