Justin Martin and Eats Everything are at it again
Justin Martin and Eats Everything have collaborated again in Hello Mr. Jello, their two-track EP being released through Dirtybird Records. If you’re familiar with their collabs, then you probably can’t wait to get your hands on this. If you’re not familiar with them, then listen to their huge track from last year here:
Although Dirtybird Records only released a sample of the songs, I was sold on what I heard. First, there’s “Steven Jello”, a track with an escalating bass line and house vocals straight out of the 90’s. Then, there’s “Kong”, which is my favorite of the two. You wonder why it’s called “Kong”, until you hear the breakdown filled with planes whizzing through the air. You then truly understand why it’s called “Kong” when the beat and bass kick in after the plane, organ, and drum roll buildup; it’s such a heavy beat that will make your head nod back and forth uncontrollably, and give you one too many speeding tickets if listened to in your car. But don’t just take my word for it, listen to it below.
The only bad thing I can say about this is that we’ll have to wait till the 31st to get this from Beatport, unless you have a membership to The Bird House through Drip.fm, then you can get it the 28th.
