Dirtybird's promising young star gets deep and dark with his newest EP that's about to be a staple in this summer's deep house anthems. Fusing together acid, tech and deep house, each track is unique in bringing together new sounds to the table. Justin Jay continues to impress the dance community with his ability to create funky bass tracks that you just can't turn down. At just 21 years-old, this San Francisco native got his techno influence from none other than Dirtybird's leading man himself, Claude VonStroke, as they embarked on a European tour last summer together. The first track, "Analysis Paralysis" takes you on an acid house ride from beginning to end, with an intense build-up in the middle of the song that works its way up through the hard-hitting beat. "Denial" brings a totally different feel, with a more tech house beat and is "both reflective and growling the fine balance" according to Justin Jay. The last and title track, "Instincts" (a personal favorite), screams energy from beginning to end. An impeccable dark deep bass gives the track a slight edge as the "rhythmic clap" parallels perfectly with the funky lyrics.  You can download your copy of "Instincts" on Beatport today. What's your favorite of the three tracks?
