No longer just a rising star, UK-based Damion Houchen, aka Genix, has become synonymous with groovy bassline’s and progressive uplifting melodies. Building off the success of his EP “Nytra” / ”Arua”, Genix has solidified his status as a staple in the Anjunabeats Family with his most recent double a-side release “Destinations” and “Moments”.

Already receiving massive support from the likes of Above & Beyond, Armin Van Buuren, and Ferry Corsten, “Destinations” is a journey through peacefully plucky percussion before diving into a riveting build up and delivering powerful melodic synth stabs that complete the track.

A song that is as equally danceable as it is emotional, “Moments” gains an almost tribal-like feel from its deep groove and glitchy beginning before dropping into hard saws, the sounds of a fleeting piano, and a breakdown and build up that finally release the all out peak-hour melodic euphoria one can expect from a Genix production.

I also went out and found this two-hour guest mix Genix put together  for Anjunabeats World Wide. It's a Free Download, enjoy! :)
