I first feel in love with Ali Wilson's style of production when I heard his track 'Pandora' back in 2011, which is crazy, because 2 years later, this track seems bring back the same vocal element that had me hooked from the get go. He uses a different style of chorus vocals form an Indian choir group that builds on itself to create a really massive big room sound that fills you with anticipation.
I love these kind of tracks that build on themselves and continue to add elements as a the song progresses, culminating with a an epic 2-3min rock out session that gives you everything you wanted from the track but didn't even know existed before your first listen. For me, that's what trance is really all about.
Some people like the hook on a pop track or hip-hop track, but those entire tracks are only like 3-4 minutes (I know, huge generalization). Trance music is a journey. It's art, not a formula. Unfortunately most people's attention spans are just to short, but then again, if everyone had good taste, no one would.
