Lazy Sundays 05

Good afternoon electronic dance music family. I hope your weekend has been fun, safe, and relaxing. If you’re reading this, you know it’s about to get really lazy. Lazy Sunday is in full effect! I have some epic tracks for you this week.

Funk E – Morning Glory (Original Mix)

Oh man, what a chill track. 11 minutes in a rabbit hole. I advise to play this in your car.

Skitzofrenix & Jeff Doubleu – Campo Alegre (Original Mix)

This is my favorite new track. I am obsessed with everything about this track, and how epic it will be to listen to this on the beach. It’s on some George of the Jungle type level. Bongos, coconuts, and steel drums. The Amazon Jungle needs this as their theme song.

Paul Van Dyk – Crush (PvD Remix)

I have to include some chill trance every week (my rule), so here’s a solid remix from Paul Van Dyk of his own track ‘Crush’. PvD is the man.

George Fitzgerald – Every Inch (Deetron Remix)

This has been out for a while, but it’s on the new John Digweed – Live in Slovenia compilation coming out on May 27th. I prefer the Deetron remix to the original. Real solid vibes here.

Robbie Rivera & Roger Sanchez – Juicy Beach Miami 2012

One of the best B2B’s ever, and you can download it for free right here. I had the privilege of attending Juicy Beach this year and came away impressed.

Tritonal feat. Jenry R – Something New (Rafael Frost Remix)

Whenever you see Tritonal and Rafael Frost used in the same sentence, you know that you’re “gonna have a good time.” This is peaceful, tranquil, or whichever term you prefer to use to describe the feeling you can obtain from this remix.

Martin Solveig vs John Dahlback – The Night Out Life (Gareth Emery Mashup)

This is such a fun remix that I couldn’t pass it up for this week’s Lazy Sundays. Two well-known tracks mashed up by the legendary Gareth Emery. Yeah buddy.

Ferrin & Morris – Arizona (Original Mix)

This massive trance track ‘Arizona’ was featured on A State of Trance 607. Enjoy.

Steve Angello – Only Man (Original Mix)

Steve Angello used to produce some deep house bangers like this one. He seems to be on this path again finally. I look forward to hearing his new productions.

STS9 – Tokyo

Hahah surprise. Did you ever expect to see a STS9 track on here? I dig STS9. They are awesome live, and this track defines a Lazy Sunday.

David Guetta & Avicii vs. Laidback Luke – Till Sunshine (Pixel Cheese Bootleg)

ThisĀ  is one of my favorite remixes of all time, and has been since 2011. Talk about an uplifter.

Carl Cox – Electric Daisy Carnival New York 2012

Oh yes oh yes. It was EDC NY this past weekend, and this set from last year is absolutely outstanding. Check it out (hopefully for the umpteenth time).

So there you have it folks. Thanks for tuning in every week. I have been receiving positive feedback on this weekly series, so I plan on doing this for a long while.

Cheers. See you next week for another Lazy Sundays with Only The Beat.
